Repeal State Quota on Number of Liquor Licenses a Municipality can Issue. Municipalities are granted the authority to issue beer and liquor licenses within their boarders but state law imposes a quota for “Class B” intoxicating liquor licenses that limits the number of such licenses each community can issue. Such restrictions interfere with local control and can hurt the economic development of a community. The League supports the enactment of legislation that repeals the quota on “Class B” liquor licenses.Ã?Â
